  • Superintendent

    The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. He or She will be a company liaison with clients, municipalities, design consultants, OSHA inspectors, other contractors, surrounding neighbors, subcontractors, government authorities, suppliers, etc.

    They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion.

    Must have ability to lead a team of subcontractors and lead them to be productive and to be able to perform their scope of work without delay

    Candidates will be responsible for on-site supervision, administration, and scheduling and coordination of construction projects according to specifications. Candidate must have ability to read construction documents, use MS word, Excel, and learn how to use internal company software for time tracking, RFI’s, Daily Logs, and schedule updates.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee jobsite and lead Subcontractors to success

    • Read and understand plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project construction schedule proficiently

    • Coordinate project status daily / weekly to Project Manager (supervisor) and or Clients

    • Coordinate job site deliveries and distribution of materials

    • Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company standards, procedures, job site rules and regulations, and complying with OSHA regulations

    • Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Construction Assistant

    Custom home building company in need of skilled construction laborer and assistant. Must have drivers license and reliable transportation. Job detail includes daily cleanup and organization of job-sites, assisting project managers, construction punch-list work. Daily tasks will be job related and will be different every day. It can include trips to Home Depot, using company truck to take trash trailer to landfill, shoveling, cleaning jobsites, moving materials, jobsite coordination, and much more. This is more than just a labor job. You will be the assistant to the Project Manager and Project Clients as needed. Ability to learn and grow with the company is essential and will be reflected in Pay and bonuses.

    Flexible hours on your schedule. 30 to 40 hours a week expected.

    Must have vehicle and understand basic English, Spanish a plus.

    We ask you to have the tools required to properly perform the tasks however basic tools can be provided.

    General construction knowledge. Knowledge of hand tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

    Position is full time-year round. Monday - Friday work week.
